APCSS hosts Chinese delegation for a tour

The Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies hosted a visit by a delegation from China’s Central Party School and China Reform Forum Aug. 11.  Pictured (l-r) are: interpreter Ms. Bai Lu, CPS professor Dr. Zhang Zhongjun, APCSS professor Dr. Mohan Malik, APCSS Dean of Academics Amb. (Ret.) Lauren Kahea Moriarty, APCSS professor Mr. Tom Peterman, Executive Vice President of Central Party School of the CPC and Chairman of China Reform Forum Mr. Li Jingtian, APCSS Deputy Director Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Jim Hirai, APCSS Professor Mr.  Butch Finley, CPS professor Dr. Pan Yu, APCSS Professor Amb. (Ret.) Charlie Salmon, and CPS professor Dr. Zhao Zhenhua. The roundtable provided an opportunity for faculty to engage in general discussions on regional security issues of interest to the U.S. and China, as well as the potential for future collaboration.
