Maritime Forces Pacific would like to invite all APCSS alumni to our upcoming international conference in September 2006.  The three-day event runs from 28-30 September 2006 and includes panels on Northeast Asian navies, illegal fishing, transnational maritime crime, piracy, maritime disputes, emerging mega ports, humanitarian operations, and global energy competition through a maritime lens.  Participants will also be treated to a day sail onboard a Canadian Patrol Frigate, lunches at the prestigious Union Club, a welcome reception at the BC Maritime Museum, and dinner hosted at the Wardroom of Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt.  Registration and all other conference information can be found at the MSC 2006 website located at http://www.members.shaw.ca/marpac/msc_2006.html .  If you have any questions or require assistance, please contact the conference director at nankivell.kls@forces.gc.ca
