Members of SEAS delegation visit APCSS

This year's Symposium on East Asia Security (SEAS) delegation recently visited APCSS. Participants included 27 of the best and brightest from the military and foreign affairs agencies of most of the nations of East Asia and the Pacific and included several were APCSS alumni.

The theme of this year's program is "China and India as Regional & Global Actors." The participants primarily focused on US-Chinese relations and it's potential impact on future of the region.

The goal of the roundtable was to help the SEAS participants understand the domestic, foreign and defense policies in China and in India, the security environment for each country and the challenges that each faces as economic growth moves both nations towards greater roles as regional and global actors.
