Fellows
Project
As part of the student-centered learning experience in CSRT 09-01, each
Fellow will be participating in a “Fellows Project.” The project is an
opportunity for you to take the unique learning tools you will gain in
this course and apply them when you return home-- to address a security
or professional challenge related to terrorism. Examples of potential
projects include improving an efficiency issue within your office
operations, or developing a communications system that contributes to
comprehensive security responses to terrorism in your country, or
addressing a personal career-development challenge. You will develop
your project in collaboration with other Fellows and APCSS faculty
throughout the course and will be afforded the opportunity for continued
collaboration following the conclusion of the course. The overarching
goal of the Fellows Project is to provide an opportunity for Fellows to
choose a specific terrorism related challenge that matters to them and
empower them to make a measurable and sustainable impact. Please discuss
with your co-workers and your supervisor potential topics for your
Fellows Project before you leave your country, and come prepared to
discuss your idea(s) with faculty advisors the first week of the course.
For any inquiries regarding the Fellows project contact Brian Middleton,
middletonb@apcss.org.
