Six distinguished APCSS Alumni recently visited the
Center to participate in a Dept. of State sponsored conference. Flanked by Dean
Lee Endress and Amb. Charles Salmon, the alumni
included: Amb. Gene Christy (SEC07-1), Principal
Deputy Assistant Secretary (Public Diplomacy, Public
Affairs,
Regional Security) Glyn T. Davies(SEC06-3),

Indonesia APCSS Alumni
Association
Lt. Gen. Smith inaugurated the
Indonesia APCSS Alumni Association (IAAA). Both the U.S.
Embassy's Deputy Chief of Mission and Defense Attaché where in
attendance. More that 40 alumni attended the event. |

APCSS Alumni in the U.K
Ma Edna Guevara (CSRT 04-1) was awarded the prestigious UK
CHEVENING SENIOR FELLOWSHIP GRANT to take up a short course in
"Conflict Resolution" at the University of York, from January to
March. "There are only 12 of us worldwide who were given the
grant. The Program includes a week visit to Amsterdam, to
observe the community conflict resolution in that city," said
Guevara. The Fellowship also includes a 10-day work
attachment with either a government organization or NGO within
UK or elsewhere in Europe that deals with conflict resolution,
post war rehabilitation and reconstruction, peace building or
peace agreements implementation.
APCSS Alumni Associations

Palau and Pakistan. APCSS now has 12 alumni associations
throughout the region with several more ready to be chartered...

Officers, and Members of the Board were successfully conducted on 17
March 2006 at the Daza Park Pavilion, Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo,
Quezon City.
